Have been disappointed was our favorite restaurant to go to but since change of owner prices more expensive and serves smaller . I eat alot and loved the pasta here and one of my wife and I both enjoyed. New salt on table looks cheap and not the same as it use to be with good menu which is now shorter. Unsure we will return again very disappointed after 9 years of coming to same restaurant. Staff lovely as always and listen to our feedback.

Great atmosphere, refreshing to see Italian staff in an Italian restaurant. Generous portions of fantastic food, I wanted to lick the plate clean!!! Attentive staff that make you feel like you're part of the family. A gem found and definitely will return. Oh I forgot, very reasonable prices.

The atmosphere is fairly good, like a cafe trying to be a restaurant. Staff are very friendly if not always as attentive and quick as might be expected at the price.

Extremely expensive, minimum mains are $26 for a basic pasta going up past $40 for meat and fish dishes.

The food is good, a consistent high standard apart from a one-off quality issue many years back. Having said that, it's tasty and well-seasoned without ever reaching the wow factor you'd hope for when dropping $38 for lamb shanks. In fairness, part of this is the fault of the neighbourhood, there's just not good value food in Church Street Brighton, although they seem overpriced for the quality even here. The locals seem content enough, but if you're used to the better food found around the cheaper suburbs at prices locals can afford there you may well be disappointed.

But if you really must eat on Church Street, you could do a lot worse. No major faults, just a good average place to eat.

Went for lunch yesterday with my sister, it was superb. We shared the ravioli and a salad, which were both served with tongs and extra plates. This made sharing so easy. We had a glass of the French Rose, it was amazing. Finished off with bread and butter pudding (yum) and coffee (so good). The service was fantastic. A little bit too windy for outside, but it was perfect inside. $50 each for lunch wasn't cheap, but it was well worth it . Everything was spot on. Thank you.
